Eggs
& Eights Breakfast

Winter kept holding on for dear life, but three weeks into April it finally gave
up. After a couple of months of
scattered warm, dry teaser days, it looks like the wintery weather is behind us
and we were finally able to hold an event when we could comfortably take our V-8
treasures out without fear of road salt or bad weather.
On April 22, Ron & Colleen Steck hosted a spring tradition - our Eggs & Eights
Breakfast at Egg Harbor Restaurant in Geneva.
While a group of diners conversed and had breakfast inside, a group of
Early V-8s graced the street outside.
Our hosts, Ron & Colleen arrived in their gorgeous ‘41 Station Wagon,
looking like it was ready for the Concourse in Dearborn.
First Couple John & Robin Emmering drove their ‘49 Fordor, Tom Buscaglia
brought his ‘51 Tudor, and Ken & Carolyn Bounds drove their ‘50 Crestliner.
Just four cars, but they attracted a lot of attention.
Also enjoying the gathering were John Judge, Frank & Phyllis Madrigali with
their friend Louise Engert, Pat & Dee Maroney, Joey & Millie Novak, Gary
Osborne, and Ron & Arlene Blum.
As always the food was very good and all had a good time. We did some tire
kicking as the weather was very nice; we had a good time just standing outside
talking. We all look forward to this summer with several driving adventures to
be had. I’d like to thank everyone
who came out to the breakfast and look forward to seeing more people this
summer.
