2014 Valentine’s Luncheon

On Saturday, February 15, Tom O’Donnell arranged for us to escape the winter blues for a short time and take our Valentines to a nice luncheon at Winberie’s Restaurant in Buffalo Grove.  Attending were our hosts Tom & Madeleine O’Donnell, Ken & Carolyn Bounds, Lloyd & Gladys Duzell, John & Robin Emmering, Terry & Kitty Freihage, Scott & Nicole Gilday, Earl & Gene Heintz, John Judge, Frank & Phyllis Madrigali, Jack & Jean Nikolich, and Len & Irene Vinyard.

Everyone had a great time with tasty food, excellent service, and a large helping of V-8 camaraderie.  It was a special treat to see Lloyd and Gladys Duzell there battling back from some serious health problems.  We also were happy to see Jack & Jean Nikolich.

Health & Welfare Chairman Phyllis Madrigali passed around a card for Don Braun for everyone to sign.  After the luncheon, several of us went to the nearby Claremont Rehab Center where Don is a patient to visit with Don and Elaine.
