Eggs & Eights

By Ken Bounds

On Sunday, April 11, Tom & Judy Buscaglia hosted an “Eggs & Eights” breakfast at Egg Harbor Restaurant in Geneva.  There was a threat of showers, but that didn’t prevent several members from bringing out their Early V-8s on what turned out to be a beautiful, sunny day:  Ken & Carolyn Bounds, ’50 Crestliner; Tom Buscaglia, ’51 Tudor; Jimmy Guido, ’46 Coupe; Roger Hunz, ’51 Tudor; and Dan & Diane Pudelek, ’53 Victoria.

The Egg Harbor restaurant is always a very busy, crowded place.  Our group of 22 was treated to a great breakfast with super quick and courteous service.  Enjoying the V-8 fellowship were Dick & Dotty Alfini, Ron & Arlene Blum, Ken & Carolyn Bounds, Tom & Judy Buscaglia, Ed Fontana, Jimmy Guido, Roger Hunz, John Judge, Joe & Nell Kozmic, Frank & Phyllis Madrigali, Dan & Diane Pudelek, Joe & Delice Serritella, and Larry & Jerry Webb.

After breakfast a number of us milled about on the street checking out our V-8s and answering questions from several passers-by.  Thanks to Tom and Judy Buscaglia for once again setting up this gathering.  What a great excuse to get the classic cars out and enjoy a super breakfast.
